Durabrand 828 graphing scientific calculator manual

This variant is found in the Sentry CA The third variant corrects the bugs found in the first two versions, and produces a different forensics result 8. This variant has the larger 35 by 23 pixel graphing region. This variant also lacks the ability to adjust display contrast despite what the MODE reference table printed on the front of the calculator indicates. The graphing region of the display is composed of two separate areas. The upper area is 7 rows by 33 columns. The lower region is 16 rows by either 33 or 35 columns.

The 33 by 23 pixel graphing region utilized by the Sentry CA If you want to see what it looks like, here it is: I'm taking Saxon Advanced Mathematics, and I'm currently learning how to perform two-variable analysis using a graphing calculator.

Anyways, this is all my book says: Quote: Graphing calculators use the least squares algorithm to do linear regressions. All you have to do is enter the x data points in one list, enter the y data points in another list, and press the proper key.

I don't know, I'm very confused and they didn't give me hardly any info. I don't have a flashiest calculator anyways Please help! Edited: 23 Jan , p. Mike Sebastian's review of your calculator mentions that it does offer two-variable statistics, and this would mean that it does have the proper key, or at least the appropriate function. The photograph isn't crisp enough for us to know where that key might be. Did the calc come with a manual, either paper or on CD? I don't think it is idiotic at all for your book to assume that the reader is familiar with the correct use of his or her graphing calculator.

It seems like the text wants to teach you the principles of the math, but leaves it to you, your teacher, and the specific calculator manual as to how to use your particular hardware.

I know that students don't always have a lot of money but if your text uses the TI82 you may want to look at spending a little more and getting one in that series. Both calculators do not compute arcsin in degrees, even when in degrees mode, as part of a formula such as the forensics formula. The arcsin step of the forensics algorithm must be computed as "sin -1 Ans". Forensics result for the new SC version.

The forensics algorithm produces a result of 8. This calculator also comes with an instruction manual in English and Spanish. Most of the text in the manual appears to be printed in a 4-point font, so it is a little difficult to comfortably read. Probably my biggest complaint about this calculator is the placement of the SHIFT key the yellow key in the photos below , which should have been in the upper left corner of the keyboard where the MODE key the green key in the photos below is located.
